“Riverdale” Review

With everyone’s favorite shows coming to a halt for the Christmas season, fan favorite “Riverdale” must do the same. On December 6, 2017, the mid season finale for “Riverdale” premiered on the CW Network. Be warned there are spoiler ahead.

Season two picks up after immediately after season one, with the town of Riverdale dealing with both problems of old and new. In the new season, the shows follows the events of Archie Andrew (K.J. Kappa), Jughead Jones ( Cole Sprouse), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), and Alice Cooper (Mȁddchen Amick). The show starts of with Archie’s father being shot by a man in a black hood. After last season’s murder of Jason Blossom, the thought of a serial killer brings fear to the small town. Also, at the same time, Jughead is dealing with the fact that his father is going to prison and that the local gang called the Serpents are taking over the drug trade. This season also brings the mysterious Hiram Lodge to town.

Throughout this season, people are dealing with the crimes of the black hood, conflicts with the Serpents, and the underminings of Hiram Lodge. Overall, this season has started out wonderfully and better than last season. The show still has the same feeling from season one, but with more intensity add to it. This show deserves a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

With new problems around the corner, check out “Riverdale” every Wednesday, premiering on January 16, 2018.
